Windows Agent

Twelve data categories per cycle

v0.9.1Minor

The agent now collects 12 data categories per inventory cycle, up from 6. Key additions include hardware details, Windows patch history, six-browser coverage, and change tracking across 8 categories.

New

  • Hardware inventory via SMBIOS: manufacturer, model, serial number, firmware version, uptime, and estimated last boot time.
  • Windows patch history: every installed KB article with its exact installation status.
  • Browser extensions across six browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and Firefox; per user and profile.
  • Change tracking across 8 categories: software, patches, extensions, ports, antivirus, BitLocker, firewall, and system identity.
  • Correct Windows 11 detection; Microsoft's registry reporting is inaccurate; the agent resolves this automatically.

Improved

  • BitLocker status now includes encryption method and conversion progress per drive.
  • Open network ports now show the owning process name alongside the process ID.
  • Domain and identity reporting distinguishes between Workgroup, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Hybrid join.

Fixed

  • Agent failed to start on certain virtual machines with incomplete firmware data.
  • Firefox extension names were missing when a browser profile contained multiple extension databases.
